“Bottom’s” Perspective

edgar2There will be many posts dedicated to my thoughts on the scene – and will be  written from the perspective of my position as a “bottom” and “submissive,” but not necessarily at the same time as some of what I am going to write is not going to sound particularly submissive.  However, it will be real, and possibly provocative – but any good read usually is.

bruisedbottom My writings are based upon my years of experience in the lifestyle and professional scene – and my encounters with some of the most refined Professional Dominatrices and Tops on both coasts.

I have had the privilege of meeting and interacting with some amazing people, and on the flip side, a lot of not-so-amazing people.  But all of these encounters have helped to shape me into the person that I am today.

I have a much better understanding of what I want to be and what I don’t want to be – and for that, I am grateful despite any unfortunate situations I have been involved in.  That might be touched upon in this blog if it has any particular relevance, but is mostly reserved as memoir material and much of it is based on extremely early, barely legal (and particularly profound) BDSM experiences. the-robbed

This category will be where the majority of my posts will end up.  All spanking and BDSM related posts can be found by clicking on the category link that reads, “Bottom’s Perspective.” This category will lead you to the good, the bad, the ugly and funny.  So if all you want to read about is spanking, then you’ve come to the right category.

Topics will range from age-play spanking to erotic spankings and will focus on the physical and psychology aspects of play.  I will also talk about things such as the importance of compatibility, why “safe, sane, and consensual,” really does matter, how to recognize if you are being taken advantage of as a client or personal sub, what labels actually mean in a scene and whatever relevant or random things I can think of that I feel like writing about.  I have found some very useful, thought-provoking and well-read blogs over the course of the past few months while I was contemplating putting a new blog out there.  I might respond to or address some topics with posts in the “Bottom’s Perspective” category.  But you will be able to find a review of the actual blog by clicking on the “Reviews” category link.
